Episode 16 - Simple Pendulum (Harmonics)
This week I coded a simple pendulum. A simple pendulum consists of a ball with mass M hanging from a string of length L and fixed at a pivot point. When displaced to an initial angle and released, the pendulum will swing back and forth with periodic motion. Below are two pendulums whose bobs are the same mass. Only their fulcrums are of different lengths. The period of the pendulums are therefore different.
